WTA’s Gateway will present the Robert Jospe Quartet on Saturday, Jan. 14 in an evening of music to delight all. The 8 p.m. show will be at WTA’s venue at 329 W. Main St., Downtown Waynesboro. The performance is partially supported by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
The performance features drummer Robert Jospé, well known to jazz audiences for decades. He brings together a fabulous quartet with the wonderful Laura Ann Singh on vocals, legendary guitarist Royce Campbell and one of Virginia’s finest bassists, Rusty Farmer. “A Night of Jazz and Blues” features the quartet playing classic jazz, blues, ballads, bossas, fusion and original compositions interpreted in their own unique style. Their funky, fresh and exciting repertoire, fine musicianship and group chemistry are highlighted in the quartet’s engaging concert performances.
