Chris Runion25th House District Republican nomination candidate Chris Runion announced today the hiring of Cody Hanshaw as his campaign manager.

“Cody comes to us as an experienced grassroots campaign worker having served on House of Delegate, State Senate, congressional, and multiple gubernatorial races,” said Runion. “His experience building grassroots field operations in Western Virginia will be an invaluable asset to my campaign.”

Hanshaw got his start on political campaigns in 2016 as the Roanoke Valley Field Director for Congressman Bob Goodlatte. He has since served as Western Deputy State Field Director for Ed Gillespie’s 2017 gubernatorial campaign, Statewide Field Director for Ron Desantis’ campaign for governor of Florida, and as campaign manager for Del. Ronnie Campbell’s (R-Rockbridge County) recent Firehouse Primary and Special Election in December.

“I’m honored and excited to join Chris Runion’s campaign,” Henshaw said. “As I’ve gotten to know Chris and his record of service to his community I truly believe he is the right person to fill the large shoes that Del. Steve Landes is leaving behind. I believe the people of the 25th District will find Chris’ authenticity, humility, and dedication to service a breath of fresh air in this race.”

Voters will choose the Republican nominee for the 25th House of Delegates District in a Firehouse primary on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 4 pm.

The 25th House District is made up of parts of Albemarle County, parts of Augusta County, and parts of Rockingham County.
