A graduate of The VCU Jazz Studies Program, Doug has performed on both the Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise lines. He can also be seen playing with the Doug Bethel Trio and The UVA Jazz Ensemble with John D’earth in and around Charlottesville, VA.  Brandon Rose has provided his excellent trumpet and cornet skills for Baaba Seth, Conjuto Sason, The UVA Jazz Ensemble and Mami Gato in addition to Zuzu’s Hot 5.  Multi-talented instrumentalist and dance caller Paul Rosen has a life-long passion for traditional Appalachian, Blues, Cajun and swing. He is a founding member of The Buzzard Rock Bayou Boys, member of the Cajun band Jolie Fille, the UVA Klezmer Ensemble with Joel Rubin, and the contra dance band Floorplay.  Bassist Sam Green is also a member of the powerhouse rock band, Second Opinion.  Susanna Rosen has toured with The Alex Caton Band, is a former member of ACME Swing Mfg. Co., is a founding member of the all-girl jazz quartet, Broadband, and the ’20s trio Five Foot Two. Her extensive collection of 78 records and sheet music provide inspiration for this joyous jazz combo.  Zuzu’s mob has you in their sights.
