Virginia-Georgia Tech Series
Georgia Tech holds a 69-49-2 series edge over Virginia, but UVa is 23-13-1 against the Yellow Jackets since the current coaching staff took over in 2004.
Virginia has won four of its last five series against Georgia Tech, although the Yellow Jackets won two of three in 2013 in Atlanta.

Expect Some Nail Biters
Recent games between UVa and Georgia Tech have been extremely tight – 28 of the 37 games since 2004 have been decided by three runs or fewer (16 by one run or a tie). UVa swept the series last year in Charlottesville, although all three games in 2014 were tight – a pair of 4-3 games as well as a 3-1 contest.

Odds and Ends
• Adam Haseley is batting a team-best .438 in true road games.
• Virginia is 11-3 this year when hitting at least one home run.
• UVa is No. 46 in the first NCAA RPI for 2015 (Georgia Tech is No. 13).
• UVa is 17-4 away from home this year (3-8 at home); three of UVa’s final five ACC series will be on the road.
• UVa has started 18 different lineups in 32 games, but has used the same players in nine of the last 10 games.
• Seven of Virginia’s 12 losses have come by two runs or fewer, including five by one run.

Noting Georgia Tech
Winners of five of their last six games, Georgia Tech is batting .287 this season. The Yellow Jackets’ leading hitter, freshman Kel Johnson at .379, has missed the last 10 games with an ankle injury. Arden Pabst is hitting .320, while Keenan Innis is batting .315. Georgia Tech owns a 4.15 team ERA and is tied for the ACC lead in fielding at .976.

Up Next
Virginia returns home Tuesday for a season-long seven-game homestand, entertaining Radford in a 6 p.m. matchup at Davenport Field.
