Winter Weather Advisory in Shenandoah Valley: Freezing rain, ice

snow-plow-headerThe National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Shenandoah Valley as a Nor’Easter makes its way up the East Coast tonight into Tuesday.

The Valley is expected to get mainly freezing rain and sleet with some snow mixed in. An inch of snow is possible.

The Advisory is in effect beginning at 9 p.m. Monday and runs through 8 a.m. Tuesday.
