The Waynesboro Public Library has a busy calendar of events for the month of February.
Tuesday, February 3, 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.
Tuesday, February 3, 7:00 pm – Craft Club. Bring your own project or try the project on the handout available at the circulation desk. Basic tools (scissors, tape, glue, etc.) are provided. Bring other supplies needed.
Friday, February 6, 9:30-11:30 am – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.
Friday, February 6, 7:00 pm – History of Blues. Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of blues as Dr. Levine and the Dreaded Blues Lady mix music and history.
Friday, February 13, 6:30 pm – Friday Night at the Movies. Enjoy new features on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided.

Tuesday, February 17, 7:00 pm – Book Talk. Martha Woodroof has written for NPR, npr.org, Marketplace, Weekend America, and the Virginia Foundation for Humanities Radio Feature Bureau. She will discuss her latest book, Small Blessings.
Wednesday, February 18, 7:00 pm – Wednesday Night Book Club. Fascinating and far ranging discussion with other book lovers. The book is provided, participants vote on selections, and a staff member leads the discussion. This month’s selection is The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.
Friday, February 20, 9:30-11:30 am – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.

10:30 am – Swing and Sway. This music and movement class is just the thing you need to get started in the morning. No stories, just song and dance. Ages 0-6.
4:00 pm – WPL Knitters. Bring your materials and socialize with other knitters.

6:30 pm – Happy Tales. Furry canine friends are ready to listen to you read. Please make an appointment.
Wednesday
9:30 am – Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.
10:30 am – Story Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages two through five accompanied by an adult.
Thursday

10:00 am – Computer classes are offered Thursday of every week. Classes rotate between Computer Basics, Email 101, Introduction to Microsoft Word, and OverDrive & Zinio Basics. Call (540) 942-6746 to register.
