Waynesboro Police make arrest in Ciro’s Pizza, Purple Foot burglaries

King, Justin MichaelThe Waynesboro Police Department has charged a Waynesboro man for the burglaries of Ciro’s Pizza and the attempted burglary of The Purple Foot.

Justin Michael King, 18 years old, faces five felonies in relation to the restaurant burglaries from late August and early September.

Those charges are:

  • Breaking & Entering (two counts)
  • Destruction of Property (two counts)
  • Principal to Attempted Burglary

Charges are pending against another suspect, Erik Allen Blizzard, 19 years old, of South Carolina, and a third suspect, a male juvenile from Fishersville. King is currently incarcerated at Middle River Regional Jail on charges from Augusta County.  He has no bond.

The arrest comes as a result of a joint investigation with the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office in the recent rash of business burglaries.

The investigation of other business burglaries (Rudy’s Dry Cleaning, the concession stand at War Memorial Pool, Sago Antiques and Self Serv Laundromat) remains open.
