Virginia, BYU announce future football series changes

virginia footballVirginia and BYU announced today (March 25) changes to their future football series.

The game between the Cavaliers and Cougars originally scheduled for 2019 in Charlottesville has been moved to 2021 and will be played in Provo. The 2023 game originally scheduled for Provo will be played in Charlottesville.

The two schools added an additional date to their agreement and will face off in Provo in 2025.

Virginia and BYU have met five times with the Cavaliers holding a 3-2 advantage in the series. The most recent games came during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. UVA won 19-16 in 2013 in Scott Stadium. The Cougars defeated the Cavaliers 41-33 in 2014 in Provo.
