UVA gets four seed in ACC women’s lacrosse tournament

uva lacrosseThe UVA women’s lacrosse team (11-5, 4-3 ACC) will be the No. 4 seed in the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championships, taking on the No. 5 seed, Notre Dame (9-7, 3-4 ACC), in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 23 at 1 p.m.

The Cavaliers are hosting the tournament for the first time since 2008, with all three rounds taking place atKlöckner Stadium from April 23-26. All seven games of the tournament will be televised on the ACC’s Regional Sports Network (RSN).

The winner of the Notre Dame/Virginia game will advance to the semifinals to take on either No. 1 North Carolina or No. 8 Virginia Tech at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 24. The winner of Friday’s semifinals games will advance to the championship game on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m.

Virginia fell to Notre Dame, 14-4, in the regular-season meeting between the two teams on April 4.

All-session tickets are $14 for reserved seats, $10 for general admission adult tickets and $8 for students and seniors. Single-session tickets are $7 for reserved seats, $5 for general admission adult tickets and $4 for students and seniors.
