United Way planning 75th anniversary campaign kickoff

The United Way of Greater Augusta is kicking off its 75th anniversary campaign on Friday, Sept. 9 at Frontier Drive in Staunton.

The 8:30 a.m. event will commence the fund-raising campaign of the local United Way for 2016-2017. The United Way of Greater Augusta has raised more than $40 million in its history to date to help programs serving the local community.
