tv-clipartAs expected, the BCS National Championship Game dominated the cable TV ratings on Monday, drawing 25.6 million viewers overall and an 8.7 rating among viewers in the 18-49 demographic. But WWE’s Old School Raw actually improved upon last week’s Raw rating even with the stiff competition.

Raw drew a high of 4.72 million viewers in the 8 p.m. Eastern hour, and maintained a 1.6 rating for the three-hour show.

The show averaged 4.538 million viewers, up 9.9 percent from the Dec. 30 average viewership of 4.128 million. The Dec. 23 Raw drew an average of 3.82 million viewers.

The episode of Raw that ran against the 2013 BCS National Championship Game drew an average of 4.65 million viewers.
