Waynesboro Generals coach D.J. King and players Joseph Estrada and Kevin Phillips were handed suspensions by the Valley League on Wednesday following ejections from Tuesday’s game with the Charlottesville Tom Sox.
King is suspended for four games after his ejection for arguing with the umpiring crew in the seventh inning of the game, which the Generals won, 5-4, with a three-run rally in the ninth.
Phillips is suspended for two games after being ejected earlier in the seventh inning after a brief altercation with a Tom Sox baserunner.
Estrada is suspended for one game following his ejection in the fourth for arguing balls and strikes.
