Jennie Simms’ 17 points and career high 14 rebounds propelled the ODU women’s basketball team (11-7, 4-3) to victory over UAB (9-9, 3-4) by a score of 58-46.

ODU men’s basketball loses in OT to Middle Tennessee

ODU junior guard Trey Freeman (Virginia Beach, VA.) scored a game high 18 points and sophomore forward Denzell Taylor (Ontario, Canada) added 12 points, but the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee defeated the Monarchs, 68-58 in overtime.

Middle Tennessee takes down ODU Lady Monarchs, 65-48

In the fourth ever meeting between the ODU women’s basketball team (10-7, 3-3) and Middle Tennessee (11-5, 5-1), it was the Blue Raiders who took down ODU by a score of 65-48 at the Constant Center on Thursday.

ODU beats North Texas before sellout crowd, 61-50

Trey Freeman (Virginia Beach, VA.) scored 18 points and Aaron Bacote (Hampton, VA.) added 14 to lead ODU (15-2/4-1) to a 61-50 Conference-USA victory over North Texas before a sellout crowd of 8,472 at the Constant Center.

ODU basketball tops Presbyterian, 69-51

Keenan Palmore scored a career-high 24 points to lead four ODU Monarchs in double-figures to defeat Presbyterian 69-51 Thursday. Richard Ross, Aaron Bacote and Dimitri Batten all reached double-digits as ODU raced out to an early lead over PC. The Monarchs scored the first 11 points of the game and stormed out to a 17-2 run over the first six minutes.
