After a month off due to illness and too many players out doing St Patty’s gigs, we at Mojo Saturday Night are overdue for night of musical fun!
Kevin Chisnell has booked Roddy Barnes for a “rare and exclusive “evening at WTA’s Gateway on Saturday, February 16, at 8 pm. Chisnell says the evening will have “some of the sweetest blues piano you’ve ever heard. It will be the toe tappinest, hip shakinest, and back beatinest Mojo Saturday Night ever.”
Listen to me now and thank me later… Clear your calendar for February 16th. Buy a ticket to Mojo Saturday Night for the February show (February 16th, that you just cleared your calendar for). Come down to The Gateway and enjoy a rare and exclusive evening with Roddy Barnes and his piano. It’ll be some of the toe tappinest, hip shakinest, back beatinest and even some of the sweetest blues piano you’ve ever heard.
January’s Mojo Saturday Night will have a deep blue hue to it! Featuring local favorites Lisa Miller, Jack Roy and Kevin Chisnell, the Saturday, Jan. 19th show at The Gateway will look deep into blues traditions, history and most of all: music.
The Blues Buskers, Kat and Doug and J3 provide holiday music for blues lovers.
Ah, can you hear it? The jingling of silver bells, children laughing, people passing… Yup, this is Santa’s big scene!! The holiday season is upon us!!
A voice that good, they always want more! Even after their incredible opening set at the Waynesboro Chili, Blues and Brews Festival in September was completed, the crowd did not want her to stop… Erin Lunsford and the Smokey Bandits will bring that energy to their debut on Mojo Saturday Night on Saturday, November 17 at WTA’s Gateway in downtown Waynesboro. Joining them will be Emma Leigh and Buddy Thomas. The performance begins at 8 pm with the doors opening at 7:30 pm.
