Generals rally falls short in 11-8 loss

Poor defense – four errors in the first three innings – put Waynesboro in a big hole to visiting Haymarket. The Generals made a game of it late, but the Senators were able to hold on for an 11-8 win Thursday night

Waynesboro wins wild one at Haymarket, 10-9

Caleb Palensky’s RBI single with two outs in the ninth tied it, and Brandon Glazer’s two-out RBI single in the 10th was the difference as Waynesboro won on the road at Haymarket 10-9 Sunday. The Generals had already rallied from a three-run deficit to tie the game at 8 in the seventh with the key hit being a two-out RBI single by Julian Ridings
