Meet Mark Twain at WTA’s Gateway
Actor Ryan Clemens, relative of Mark Twain (penname of writer Samuel L. Clemens) will bring his show Meet Mark Twain to WTA’s Gateway on Friday, March 22. His performance brings to life the celebrated American author and demonstrates that Twain’s wit and wisdom remain poignant and laugh-out-loud funny today, more than a century after his passing. The performance is at 7:30 pm. The Gateway is at 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro.

Singers, hula hoops and tubas at Richard Adams Variety Show
As always Richard Adams has gathered an eclectic array of talent for his March Variety Show. Vocal sensationJanet Rose Campbell and Bryan Elijah Smith join Hula Hooper Arrow and the Stonewall Brigade Band Tuba Choir to make this month’s The Richard Adams Variety Show a must see. . . and hear event. The Robert Jospe Quartet next in the Custin Jazz Series
The Custin Jazz series will present the Robert Jospe Quartet on Saturday, March 9. The 8 pm performance will be at WTA’s Gateway at 329 West Main. The performance is partially supported by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Marcolivia Duo to perform at Gateway
Classical violinists Marc Ramirez and Olivia Hajioff will perform at WTA’s Gateway on Saturday, March 2 at 8 pm.
Spy! Tales from the Civil War at WTA’s Gateway
In keeping with the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, WTA’s Gateway has engaged award-winning storyteller, Lynn Ruehlmann to perform her tale of Civil War spies. The performance will be at 7 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main Street on Friday, February 22. The program will feature the stories of Elizabeth Van Lew and Rose O’Neal Greenhow who used their wiles and skills to secure information for opposite sides in the war. Each story is a fascinating look at the role of women in the conflict that split the nation.
Richmond comedians at WTA’s Gateway
David Wingfield and Friends will appear at the WTA’s Gateway on Saturday, February 23. Since their January show as canceled because of weather, the February cover charge will be $5 instead of the usual $10.
February Radio Hour Features Samuel Johnson and Friends
The River City Radio Hour moves into new territory in February. Samuel Johnson returns, Cathy LaFon joins the Boogie Kings, Manfred Martin shares his Vegas connections, Angel Love considers her options and Marsha Howard deals some new jokes. All of them will be at the Friday, February 15th Radio Hour for the two performances at 6:30 and 8 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro. It is a Radio Hour not to be missed.
