The former vice president is saying that President Obama is “afraid” to make key decisions on the war in Afghanistan, and that his indecision has hampered the efforts of U.S. troops and put at risk the mission in the Middle Eastern country. Sixty years ago, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson left Washington to pursue what he later called “the most important, enduring, and constructive work of [his] life”: prosecuting international war crimes committed during WWII.
