AWASAW gets million-dollar state grant

The AWASAW Regional Artisans and Cultural Center project has been tapped for a $1 million grant from the Community Development Block Grant-Recovery program, Gov. Tim Kaine announced today.

The $22.5 million project is being funded largely from private funding sources – to the tune of $20 million. The million-dollar CDBG-R grant is being matched by another $1.5 million in local and state monies. Continue reading “AWASAW gets million-dollar state grant” »
