Vic Gilchrist, senior vice president, commercial banking, at SunTrust, presents a check for $5,000 to Augusta Health Foundation Executive Tami Radecke to support the Cancer Services Bridge Fund. The Bridge Fund is used to “bridge the gap” when cancer patients have a critical need and no other assistance is available. The Bridge Fund has helped patients with transportation, costly medications, wigs and head coverings, and basic living expenses they are unable to pay for due to loss of job or insurance.
