The Staunton Police Department is currently investigating the discovery of a skimming device located on the ATM at Dupont Community Credit Union, 105 Richmond Ave, on October 2.
Officers were alerted to the incident after a customer reported a problem with the ATM.
The investigation is part of a multi-jurisdictional effort involving several different banks across Virginia.
