A Staunton man has been charged in connection with a Jan. 8 accident that took the life of a Harrisonburg man.
John Glenn Mader Jr., 59, was charged with failing to stay to the right of the highway in the accident on Route 262 in Staunton.
A Chevy pickup truck being driven by Mader traveling southbound on Route 262 crossed the center line hitting head-on a Nissan car traveling in the northbound lane.
The driver of the car, Galaspa C. Duck III, a 32-year-old male of Harrisonburg, was pronounced dead at the scene.
