snow-plow-headerMotorists should expect variable road conditions throughout the Shenandoah Valley tonight.  Temperatures are hovering on either side of the freezing mark.  A mix of rain, sleet and snow should be expected throughout the night.  Higher elevations will tend to have more sleet and snow. • Interstate 64 – Moderate conditions in Alleghany County.  Clear conditions in Rockbridge and Augusta counties.
  • Interstate 66 – Clear conditions in Warren County.
  • Interstate 81 – Minor conditions in Shenandoah County.  Clear conditions in Rockbridge, Augusta, Rockingham, and Frederick counties.
  • Primary roads – Moderate to minor conditions in Highland County.  Minor conditions in Bath, Alleghany, Rockingham, Shenandoah and Page counties.  Clear conditions in Rockbridge, Augusta, Frederick, Warren and Clarke counties.
