Congressman Gerry Connolly and Don Beyer, Senator Scott Surovell, and grassroots leader Lola Quintela will campaign for Hillary Clinton at the Mount Vernon District Democratic Committee’s annual Mardi Gras event on Saturday.
They will speak with Northern Virginia Democrats about Clinton’s vision to help hardworking families get ahead by raising the minimum wage, ensuring equal pay and paid family leave, and fighting to make the economy work for all Americans, not just those at the top.
Quintela will deliver a speech on why Clinton is the candidate best prepared to fight for immigrant families, LGBT Americans, and a clean energy future.
