800px-hillary_clintonHillary Clinton has a still-healthy lead over the Democratic Party presidential field in a new Public Policy Polling voter survey.

Clinton was at 42 percent in the poll, with Bernie Sanders at 24 percent, and Vice President Joe Biden at 20 percent.

Former Virginia U.S. Sen. Jim Webb is well back at 2 percent.

Clinton’s lead would appear to grow if Biden were to decide against entering the race. Clinton is the second choice of 44 percent of current Biden supporters, according to PPP, with just 21 percent of Biden voters saying they have Sanders as their second choice.

The race is close among liberals (Clinton leads Sanders 45-41 among liberal voters) and young voters (a 36-36 tie between Clinton and Sanders). Seniors are the linchpin for Clinton (where she has a 51-23 lead over Sanders.

Clinton also runs strong among black voters (51 percent for Clinton, with Biden at 30 percent and Sanders at 13 percent) and women (Clinton is at 48 percent, Sanders at 22 percent, Biden at 17 percent).
