A Nate Blanchard grand slam keyed a six-run New Market fourth, and the Rebels coasted from there to a 13-5 win over the Waynesboro Generals Monday night.
Jordan Harmon (1-2) relieved for Generals starter Tyler Howe, who gave up two runs on three hits in three innings of work, entering the fourth. Harmon took a beating Monday night, giving up 10 runs, six earned, on nine hits in two innings of work.
Michael Brosseau hit a three-run homer in the seventh for Waynesboro (6-8), which is now six games behind South Division-leading Staunton at the one-third mark of the 2015 season.
