Nats blast five homers, Strasburg improves to 8-0

stephen strasburgThe ball was flying out of Nationals Park Tuesday night, as the Nats hit five homers behind Stephen Strasburg in a 7-4 win over the New York Mets.

Strasburg (8-0, 2.79 ERA) gave up two runs on four hits in six and two-thirds innings, striking out 11 and walking two.

Mets ace Matt Harvey (3-7, 6.08 ERA) got tattooed again, giving up five runs on eight hits in five innings, including homers by Ryan Zimmerman, Anthony Rendon and Daniel Murphy.

Wilson Ramos and Ben Revere also homered for Washington (28-18), who have a one and a half game lead on the Mets in the National League East.
