Meet Marsha Howard: Waynesboro’s First Lady of Comedy

Seven years. And Marsha Howard has not repeated a joke yet. At least she doesn’t think she’s repeated a joke to her audiences at the River City Radio Hour.

“I try to keep my program clean with just a little hint of suggestiveness,” said Howard, Waynesboro’s First Lady of Comedy, who has been a regular on the Radio Hour since its first show in 2007.

“It has really fired me up. I truly love this. I think humor is a wonderful gift to share with other people,” Howard said.
