mandy barnettAcclaimed country music singer Mandy Barnett brings her Winter Wonderland show to the Wayne Theatre on Friday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $28 and $33.

Barnett will be making her second appearance on the Wayne Theatre stage with her holiday show. She was the headline act on the April 2 debut of the Shenandoah Jamboree at the Wayne.

“Mandy was a hit with the Shenandoah Jamboree, and we’re delighted that we are able to have her return and bring her Winter Wonderland show to the Wayne. She will be a wonderful addition to our holiday lineup,” said Tracy Straight, the executive director of the Wayne Theatre.

Winter Wonderland features Barnett’s renditions of holiday classics including “White Christmas,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” along with spirited standards like “Jingle Bell Rock,” “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Marshmallow World,” and “Winter Wonderland.”

Barnett takes her cue from the enduring Christmases of the golden era – imagine the smooth and sophisticated sounds of Perry Como, Brenda Lee, Burl Ives, and Connie Francis updated with Barnett’s soaring, sparkling vocals.

Barnett’s rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” was showcased in “Political Animals,” the USA Network television series starring Sigourney Weaver and Ellen Burstyn, and Barnett’s “Jingle Bell Rock” appeared in The CW Network’s television series “The Flash.”

“Barnett’s commanding voice and stage presence are sure to put you in the holiday spirit,” Straight said.

The Wayne Theatre is located at 521 W. Main Street in Waynesboro. For more information or tickets, contact (540) 943-9999 or visit www.waynetheatre.org.
