Keep Virginia Beautiful announces 30 in 30 grant winners

keep va beautifulKeep Virginia Beautiful announced its “30 Grants In 30 Days” recipients for 2014.  A grant winner will be announced daily on KVB’s website from September 15th to October 14th.

Thirty grants from $500 to $1,000 in 3 different categories; Litter Prevention, Recycling, and Community Beautification, are being awarded to thirty different groups, schools and organizations throughout the Commonwealth.  Primary and secondary schools, colleges, parks, counties and towns, environmental groups, associations, and KVB Affiliates comprised the 30 award winners from the Chesapeake Bay to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

These 2014 “30 in 30” grants were made possible by Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation and MeadWestvaco.
