How to Follow

Fans can follow along with live stats, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3 as well, with Wade Branner and Chris Graham on the call.

VMI Notes

  • Shortstop Jacob Jaye was the offensive standout for the Keydets last week, as he hit .333 with two home runs. The two long balls doubled Jaye’s previous career home run total, accomplished in 68 prior games.
  • This is the fifth straight year that ODU has faced the Keydets in Lexington. The Monarchs have won three of the previous four, with the Keydets’ win coming in 2014.
  • Jack Gomersall made his 22nd appearance of the season during the Mercer series – He is 11 short of tying the single season program record (Jeff DeMara, 33, 2005).

Next Time Out

Following this contest, VMI opens a weekend series against Wofford in Lexington on Friday night at 6 p.m.
