The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Waynesboro, Augusta County and parts of the Shenandoah Valley overnight into Tuesday.
Temperatures are forecast in the range of 28 to 32 degrees between 3-9 a.m. Tuesday morning, with lows falling into the lower 20s at elevations above 2,000 feet.
Freezing temperatures can kill or damage sensitive vegetation. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
