NC State is ranked No. 6 in the Associated Press 2012-13 Men’s Basketball Poll and leads a group of four Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked among the Top 25.
The Wolfpack is followed by Duke at No. 8, North Carolina at No. 11 and defending ACC champion Florida State at No. 25. NC State was the named as the preseason favorite to win the ACC title in both the conference’s annual media survey and the inaugural league coaches’ poll.
