The Dan Moxley for Senate campaign has released its first endorsement. Susan Stimpson is well-known for her tax and regulation-cutting policies on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors, and her spirited race for the Republican lieutenant governor nomination in 2013.
“Dan Moxley is challenging Senator Emmett Hanger for the Republican nomination, and he has my enthusiastic support. I know Dan believes that lower taxes and smaller government keep the power where it should be – in the people’s hands – and he will fight to protect families from government overreach,” Stimpson said. She added, “Senator Emmett Hanger is a Republican who continually votes to raise taxes, grow government budgets and push for the expansion of Obamacare in Virginia.”
Stimpson continued by saying, “As a successful businessman and as a dad to seven, he brings the right experience and balance to this race. 2015 is the year of change and I’m excited to see Dan Moxley as a part of the change that will be happening in Richmond. He will represent the people of his district with integrity and courage, standing up for our liberty.”
Moxley expressed his appreciation for Stimpson’s support. “I’m honored to have the endorsement of a faithful friend and fellow patriot. Susan has been working to advance our cause for a long time, and I look forward to continuing that work with her,” Moxley said.
