Thursday, February 4, 10:00 am – Computer Basics. Please register for this free computer class.

Monday, February 8, 7:00 pm – Zentangle, a meditative art form with a relaxed focus used to create beautiful images from repetitive patterns called tangles. No artistic ability is needed. It’s fun, creative and relaxing.

Tuesday, February 9, 2:00 pmAfternoon Matinee. Enjoy a classic movie. Contact the library for the featured film. Light refreshments provided.

Tuesday, February 9, 6:00 pm – Books for Busy People. This teen short story reading club is for ages 12+.  Copies of each meeting’s short story will be available at the front desk, or check out the whole story collection.

Thursday, February 11, 10:00 am – Intro to Microsoft Word. Please register for this free computer class.

Friday, February 12, 4:00 pm – Anti-Valentine’s Day Party. Bring your BFF to this party featuring a game, craft, and light refreshments. Please sign up.

Friday, February 12, 6:30 pm – Friday Night at the Movies. Enjoy new features on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided.

Saturday, February 13, 1:00 pm – Valentine’s Tea Party. Enjoy eating sweets, drinking tea, and crafting a present with your Valentine. Registration is required.

Wednesday, February 17, 2:00 pm – Adult Color Therapy. Relax, destress, and create with color therapy. This program is free and all supplies will be provided.

Thursday, February 18, 7:00 pm – Thursday Night Book Club. Fascinating and far ranging discussion with other book lovers. The book is provided, participants vote on selections, and a staff member leads the discussion. This month’s selection is A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.

Friday, February 26, 6:30 pm – Friday Night at the Movies. Enjoy new features on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided.

Saturday, February 27, 11:00 am – Superhero Day for preschoolers to age 10. Make crafts, hone life-saving skills, and just be awesome. Costumes welcome. Registration required.

 

Weekly

Monday

  • 10:30 am – Swing and Sway. This music and movement class is just the thing you need to get started in the morning. No stories, just song and dance. Ages 0-6. 
  • 11:00 am-1:00 pm – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.
  • 4:00 pm – WPL Knitters. Bring your materials and socialize with other knitters.

 

Tuesday

  • 6:30 pm – Happy Tales. Furry canine friends are ready to listen to you read. Please make an appointment.
  • 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.
  • 6:30 pm – Happy Tales. Following Pajama Night, furry canine friends are ready to listen to you read. Please make an appointment.

 

Wednesday

  • 9:30 am –  Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.
  • 10:30 am – Story Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages two through five accompanied by an adult.
  • 3:30 pm – Game On! Video game lounge for young adults featuring Xbox games. Snacks and drinks provided.

 

Thursday

  • 4:00 pm – Junior MasterMinds is for preschoolers and is focused mainly on building, with a scientific flair.
