Everence hosts free, upcoming retirement preparation seminars

everenceEverence® Financial will continue its popular Retiring Soon? seminar through the summer.

Designed specifically for people preparing to make the transition to retirement, the seminar is offered on the first Thursday of each month – including the upcoming event on June 2 – at the Everence office located at 841 Mount Clinton Pike in Harrisonburg.

Free and open to the public, attendees will receive an introduction to Medicare and Social Security, instructions on how to enroll and have the opportunity to ask questions.

“From Medicare details and deadlines, to retirement income planning, to Social Security benefits, it can get confusing to navigate all of the specifics on your own,” , according to Joseph L. Lapp, J.D., Everence Managing Director in Harrisonburg. “There’s so much that goes into retirement preparation, and we want to help people on their journey.”

RSVPs are requested but not required. To reserve a spot, contact Patty Skelton at (540) 437-7422. Information is also available at everence.com/harrisonburg.
