Gin Lou, MD, a Family Practice physician, has joined the Augusta Health Primary Care office in Fishersville. The practice is located at 53 South Medical Park Drive, across Goose Creek Road from the main Augusta Health campus. The office phone number is 540.332.5687.
After graduating from the Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Lou received her Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman. She completed her family medicine residency in Schenectady, New York. While in training, she was Chief Resident and volunteered with the schools, the City Mission and the Columbia County Department of Health.
Dr. Lou has worked in a variety of settings, from working as a researcher for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta to practicing in an urgent care center. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Her professional interests include gynecology, pediatrics, preventive medicine, asthma, diabetes, thyroid disease and hypertension.
In her free time, Dr. Lou enjoys playing the piano and flute, tennis, traveling, dining out, shopping and watching movies.
