secondwindlogoMore than 3,500 Virginians have learned to live healthier lives through this free six week workshop offered by VPAS in conjunction with the Highland Medical Center.

The workshops in Highland County will be facilitated by trained volunteers Jeanne Flinn and Dot Terry, who will provide mutual support to build the participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives.  Participants will feel better, less limited by their illness, and learn to communicate more effectively with their doctors, family members and caregivers.

The first session will be on April 25 from 9:00-11:30am at the Monterey Presbyterian Church on Spruce Street.

Class size is limited, register today!  Call Jeanne Flinn, Highland Medical Center at 540 468-3300 or Kathy Solomon at 540 468-3001.
