Sigora Solar, a Waynesboro-based solar-installation company, has a new online presence with a successful website project completed by Augusta Free Press LLC.

AFP worked with Sigora to develop a website – www.sigorasolar.com – promoting the company’s commercial and residential services. AFP also produced two videos promoting Sigora’s work on the largest solar-thermal installation to date in the state of Virginia – at the Waynesboro Family YMCA.

AFP has as well produced two radio spots for Sigora that ran on radio stations in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg.

Drs. Bower, Keenan & Associates website live

The Charlottesville-based Drs. Bower, Keenan & Associates has completed a corporate rebranding with the aid of Augusta Free Press LLC.

AFP designed a new website – www.bowerkeenan.com - for the company, formerly the Albemarle Center for Health and Rehabilitation.

AFP also developed a new corporate logo for Drs. Bower, Keenan & Associates that is highlighted on the website and will be used in other marketing for the company.

AFP develops website for local food, culture writer

Award-winning feature writer Theresa Curry is now online at www.GMA85.com.

Augusta Free Press LLC developed the new website for Curry, who will blog on food, culture,. home design, gardening and more at the site.

The project included building new Facebook and Twitter pages for GMA85.com and developing a mobile website.

AFP also developed a distinctive logo for GMA85 that is highlighted on the website and will be used elsewhere in association with marketing for the web magazine.

ZEH has new web, social-media presence through AFP

ZEH Plumbing and Heating has a new web and social-media presence after a successful project completed by Augusta Free Press LLC.

AFP redesigned ZEH’s corporate website – www.zehteam.com – and also built a new mobile website for the company.

AFP also created a new business Facebook page for ZEH as part of the project.

Guided tour to Stonewall Jackson’s Battles at Cross Keys and Port Republic

It’s time to register for Staunton Guided Tours’ You Are There, a living history day at the battlefields of Cross Keys and Port Republic on June 9.

Civil War writer Terry Shulman leads the afternoon-evening tour, starting from Staunton Visitors Center at 1 p.m. Participants will experience living history programs and a guided car caravan tour of Port Republic, plus evening events at the famous Widow Pence Farm on the Cross Keys battlefield – a barbecue supper, authentic period music, and talks by Robert Krick, a national leader in preservation of Civil War battlefields, and keynoter Dr. James I. AFP offers new web. marketing, advertising class

Augusta Free Press LLC is offering its next Building the Machine 101 web, marketing and advertising class in Harrisonburg on Thursday, May 24.

The 1-4:30 p.m. class will cover the basics of building business websites, business Facebook pages and blogging and public relations for business. The class will also provide an overview of how to integrate your website and social media into an effective overall marketing and advertising strategy. Read more
