Davis’ homers, his 39th and 40th, give him five home runs in his last three games, and 21 since the All-Star break.

Matt Wieters (6) and Adam Jones (25) also went deep for the O’s. Ubaldo Jimenez (10-9, 4.24 ERA) got the win, giving up two runs, one earned, on four hits in five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking six.

Drew Hutchison (13-3, 5.07 ERA) took the loss, giving up six runs on nine hits in five innings of work.
