Baltimore completes doubleheader sweep of Yankees

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesPaul Janish scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth to break a 3-3 tie, and Baltimore held on for a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees Saturday night, completing a doubleheader sweep.

Nolan Reimold (6) and Manny Machado (35) homered for the Orioles (80-81).

Ubaldo Jimenez gave up three runs on five hits in six innings in a no-decision for the O’s.

T.J. McFarland (2-2, 4.58 ERA) got the win in relief, and Zach Britton notched his 35th save.

Dellin Betances (6-4, 1.50 ERA) took the loss in relief for the Yankees (87-74).
