What I take away from this article is to have realistic expectations. We are experiencing record levels of snowfall and how much money do you want devoted to something that will eventually melt away…? Money that is diverted from maintanenve at the expense of snow removal is being taken away from improvements that we will benefit from all year long… I say we suck it up and drive a little slower and look forward to the spring, hopefully with money still in the maint. fund…

I think Augusta County and Waynesboro did a great job with Route 340, Main Street and Rosser Avenue, they deserve public thanks for their efforts.

I think a snow plow would be a good investment for the Augusta Free Press. Could bring in lots of good will.

This is a crazy amount of snow for the city to deal with. I know that it is difficult for citizens to get around. But we need to be patient. I see city workers hard at it, day and night- I’m sure they are working overtime hours and would often rather be with their families. Plus, cost is a major factor here.
I know it would help if those with driveways could park there instead of on the street.
Let’s give the city workers a smile and a wave next time you see them.
