Valley under Blizzard Warning for Saturday
Heavy snowfall, dangerous winds in forecast

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for the Central Shenandoah Valley beginning 6 a.m. Saturday through 6 p.m. Saturday.
The Blizzard Warning means heavy snow accumulations with sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 40 mph.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through 6 a.m. Saturday and again from 6 p.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday.
Reports as of midnight Saturday have snow accumulations in the area of a foot.
Another foot to two feet is possible before the end of the storm.
