Sophomore Dillon Brunk (Dayton, Va./Eastern Mennonite) was recently named to the First Team All-South Atlantic Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

After his first year as the fulltime keeper for the EMU soccer men, Brunk was one of only three sophomores as well as only three ODAC players on the regional’s first team.

Brunk was also named First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference this fall, as he led the league with 131 saves and 6.89 saves per game. The keeper was also second in the ODAC with a .840 save percentage. Brunk had a season high 13 saves in a 2-1 upset win at Roanoke on Oct. 24. He had four other games in which he made 12 saves.

Eastern Mennonite finished 2009 with a 7-7-5 mark, including 5-3-2 in ODAC play. It was the best conference record for the Royals since going 5-2-2 in 2003. The Royals lost 1-0 to eventual ODAC runner-up Roanoke in the ODAC quarterfinals.

So over 80% of democrats want Lieberman “punished” for his health care filibuster. Isn’t America about tradition? Can we punish for some of congress’ jokes but not others? In the meantime – get people involved and stay vigilante, America: http://tictacdo.com/ttd/Track-US-Legislation-and-Congress
