Obama has two problems Palin won’t.
1. He’ll have four years of policies on the record.
2. How does a “change” candidate become the “stick with me” incumbent. (Give me four more years to change things I couldn’t change the last four?)
Besides, I don’t think Palin’s going to end up running this time. Palin would be a change candidate trying to say the last change candidate didn’t change things the right way.

I suppose if she has gone back to Alaska & finished her term as Governor which she took an oath on the open doors she is always talking about wood have closed.
This is all about her. what a phony. What kind of people would stand in line to get this book. She is playing it for all it is worth. True Christian people do not go about spreading lies Christians & Politicians have nothing in common after each Politicians name should be AKA LIAR.

It’s true. Although the Gately-as-hero-of-inaction part (last fifth of the book) didn’t really click until the second read. I hear John Krasinski did a movie of “Brief Interviews with Hideous Men.” Here’s hoping his first project post-Office will be a premium-cable-series adaptation of IJ. The possibilities are … well, you know.

People don’t have to like Sarah Palin!

Sarah is responsible for her own image, just like Obama is responsible for his.

If she bombs Katie Couric’s interview, its Sarah’s fault! Not Katie’s!

Just like if football players flunk an exam in college, it’s their fault! Not the professors!

There’s a really nasty paralell between grade inflation and blaming the media- and most of both come from the right wing.

She was smart to get out of government and just making a living by spoonfeeding this garbage to the regrettably large segment of our society that wants to eat it. Certainly she can do less damage that way. Her fans will think what they think with or without her, so it really doens’t have much of an effect on culture or politics. Just a way to make some bucks.

Oh, and the first time I read Infinite Jest, it took three weeks. So, take that. (As long as we’re being petty and all.)
