We lost at home to a 1-AA team. The Duke loss was not the lowest point. This is. This team could easily go 0-12.
Oh, baby Jesus. LMAO!! (Sorry, Chris. Not at you, but at what Groh and his apologists have allowed to happen to that program.)
Brian, maybe they were just trying to make UVA look better. We couldn’t have possibly had the ball that long.
I am sticking around. This is it. Finally. Free at last, free at last, thank God, Almighty, we’re free from Al Groh at last!!!!!!!!!
I hope Al blames the loss of Mike Groh as offensive coordinator for this defeat.
Chant: “C-A-A! C-A-A! C-A-A!”
I’m heading down for the postgame.
Get it on video man. We have to see this one.
I agree with Crystal.
I just told my friend who is also a UVA fan (or was) that the only way I could enjoy this game was to think of the Sayonara guys from I Survived a Japanese Game Show escorting Al Groh outta the stadium.
Chris, I believe we all are going to need counseling and therapy after this game…
Agree. Video!
Text message from Chris: Ugh. This is as bad as I’ve ever felt about one of my favorite teams.
we’re out of town campin’
What was final, dismal score, please?
W&M 26, UVa. 14.
It could have and should have been much worse.
UVa. committed eight turnovers. W&M missed three field goals. One of our TDs was Vic Hall being a great athlete and turning a three-and-out into a TD. It could easily have been 32-7 or 39-7 W&M. That’s how the game played. It wasn’t even close.
I just got back from the game. I’ve never been more embarrassed to be a fan of any team. Considering I’m a Falcon’s fan – that’s saying alot. We’ve got to fire Groh – considering this year UVA has lost in Football to WM and basketball to Liberty, I say Littlepage has to go as well. It’s unacceptable. There’s no excuse why we can’t field a competitive team in either of the ‘revenue’ sports.
They are truly tasting my patience. William and Mary played a great game but we gave them alot. The dropped pic 6 changed the game. The inability to have any running game – the controlling of the clock by the Tribe. We’ve got to be one of the weakest Div 1 football programs in the country. It doesn’t make sense to me how Al Groh can continue to draw a paycheck when he continually brings our football program to new lows. Go get Jags, give the team to Ron Prince, do something – but make a statement to UVA Faithful that you will not stand to have this programming tainted and embarrassed any further – it’s time to rid our Athletics of Groh and Littlepage. TODAY – NOW – GET THE H**$&%&L out of Cville.
Groh doesn’t make it past the bye week.
Fortunately, the intrepid California Golden Bears are mauling the Terrapins 45-6. Jeff Tedford – now there’s a coach.
JMU has a shot at Maryland next week. The CAA could be 3-0 against the ACC.
Maryland’s quarterback is apparently the son of the original drummer for Ratt.
