The Washington Post has called it for Deeds. I can’t believe it’s over so early.
I have my thoughts on my blog. How soon until McAuliffe moves out of Virginia?

They only need a few thousand votes to make a difference. Depends if this news gets out beyond the political junkies.

I think so. I’m going to jump on a conference call with Mike Henry and Mo Elleithee from the McAuliffe campaign in the next hour and report back around 5:15 or so what they have to say. But I think you hit the nail on the head here.

Is the afternoon McAuliffe email a last gambit to convince potential voters he’s still a winner? His campaign has been about being the frontrunner and eventual winner. Voters attracted to that need a reason to vote – to think he’s going to win instead of he’s sinking fast.
