I’m here. What a nice day outside. Should be out playing tennis.
From the atmosphere in here, my guess is that a lot of folks who would otherwise be here are out doing above.
Decent crowd here now.
So who do you think Pete Gillen is cheering for?
Pete … good question. Xavier didn’t axe him. There’s a plus for X. He still lives in Charlottesville, and we paid him a lot more per win. That’s a plus for V. In the end, it’s probably a wash.
We need to get Sene in shape to play 40 minutes a game.
Never thought I’d say this – Farrakhan is in, yay!
11-2 Xavier run
15-2 Xavier run
Sene, Zeglinski return – good news
Diane in – bad news
18-2 Xavier run
18-8 Xavier, 10:10/1st
Diane all-star moment – bad pass leading to turnover, then he fouls the guy making the bunny on the fast break.
He has been lifted.
That was a 23-2 X run
Xavier 28-15, 6:47/1st
Ineptitude.
Considering the way Xavier is grabbing and clutching five guys on the Virginia offensive end every time we have the ball, it is beyond explanation as to how Virginia has eight fouls and Xavier has five. Get their damn hands off.
Too bad the game didn’t end after 4 minutes. We would have won if that were the case. Hopefully we won’t lose by 243 like we did last year.
Some life – all we have to do is get down 20 and hope they lose focus.
Xavier 42-26, half
And somehow we won on the road in the ACC. Doesn’t say much for Georgia Tech.
This little home-and-home with Xavier isn’t working out too good for us.
This is a clear demonstration of just how undermanned we are. And as I’ve said many times this season, that’s one guy’s fault.
Discontent loudly surfaces amongst the faithful. This is an utter embarrassment.
Large numbers of people are heading to the exits. Can’t blame them.
Leitao has been complaining for two years that his team doesn’t give him enough effort. Question – who sets the tone for effort, from recruiting to practice to game situations? That’s a load of bull.
Xavier 60-36, 10:59/2nd
I’m not sure Virginia gets 60 in this one.
6-0 UVa. run since the insertion of Soloman Tat into the lineup
It’s a shame that Landesberg has to play for this team.
If basketball had a plus-minus rating like hockey does, Tat’s would be plus-9.
We outscored Xavier 19-10 with him in the game. He’s out now.
Crystal is bored. And doesn’t have her own computer up her to relate that. She has a notebook and pen. She’s not even doodling.
We’re not doing any special postgame reports from here. There’s not much we can do to make this one all tidy.
Diane for 3 – he is now 1-for-22 from three on the season.
Crystal really wants to see the lead down to 10. I don’t think she’s going to get there.
Best omen of the night, Sene hit a jump hook. Come to think of it. ANYBODY hitting a jump hook is a good omen.
On another note, the Diane 3 pushed us over 60.
Sene also had a nice turnaround J in the first half. Two nice post moves for him.
Landesberg has 25. The lead is 15. Crystal is five points away from being happy.
Crystal is two points from being happy. She doesn’t look all that happy to me. But she assures me that she will in fact be happy. With two more points.
Crystal is not happy! Heads are going to roll!
