Waynesboro Mayor Tim Williams has proposed a pay increase for members of Waynesboro City Council.

    I would like to see more tax recourses given to the “New Fire Department” then to a part time council member. I believe that public safety is the governments first responsibility at all levels. So, I guess my answer is NO…

    My answer – no, as well. And I like the reasoning offered above. Public safety should be the primary concern of government. It’s the reason we organize governments historically.
