Deeds, McAuliffe or Moran?
Three contenders for the Democratic Party gubernatorial nomination – Creigh Deeds, Terry McAuliffe and Brian Moran.
Only one can be the nominee.
Who should it be? And a different question – who will it be?

I have no dog in this hunt, but with Deeds from Bath and Moran from my part of the Commonwealth in Alexandria, McAuliffe may prove to be a party uniter and will emerge the nominee.
My choice for governor is current Attorney General Bob McDonnell, but you knew I would weigh in that way, Chris!
Your analysis, I think, on the Dem race is sound. I think McDonnell is the favorite heading into ’09, and will be hard to beat.
Deeds seems to be a man with plans. Although he hails from Bath County (BACOVA) he seems to be getting the endorsements from the right communities. We must have respect for a man that lives in a remote part of the commonwealth.
I don’t know where each candidate stands. Bath County? Wow! I was solicited by the McAuliffe people and Deeds people, I inadvertaly agreed to help both. Oops. I think I might go for McAuliffe, I’ll ask around. My friends and I are 18, so we just started into politics:)
