McAuliffe to visit Waynesboro

Terry McAuliffe will make a stop in Waynesboro next week as he travels Virginia to gauge interest in a possible 2009 Democratic Party gubernatorial-nomination bid.
McAuliffe will be at Lynn’s Pancake and Steak House at 2105 W. Main St. Monday night at 7 p.m.

The event will include a buffet dinner that those taking part can purchase for $9.95. You do not have to buy the dinner to take part in the event.

McAuliffe filed paperwork last week related to a possible run for the ’09 Democratic nomination to run for governor. The former Democratic National Committee chair and longtime close confidante to former president Bill Clinton and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has not set a timetable for when he might make up his mind about formally entering the race.

The event Monday night is open to the public.
